Venue requirements
The show suits a theatre style or cabaret style venue of 150 – 700 seats.
Staging
Clear raised stage required (not smaller than 5m(w) x 4m(d) x 0.3m(h)) with piano (OP). Black tabs at rear with entry opening centre. Standard black masking at wings to form black box stage.
Set
No touring set as such. Company supplies double bass and flowers on black plinth.
Lighting
Over-stage 9 units, front light 9 units, back light 5 units, spot on centre stage with iris for head only. Main focus is Downstage Centre, specials on flowers, musicians.
Operating position – FOH with clear stage view, preferably beside sound desk.
House light control at operating position.

6 x 1200W PC fittings with gel frames and barn doors.
5 x 1200W Fresnel fittings with gel frames and barn doors.
12 x 1000W Pacific Zoom Spots, 2 with Iris. (1 x 5.5-13deg, 2 x 23-50deg, 9 x 12-28deg)
2 x 12 2.4kW dimmer packs with minimum 24 fader preset lighting console with memory for 50 cues.
Sound
High quality system appropriate for the venue. Minimum 2 x 3-way speakers either side of stage or above centre, with stereo amp, EQ, preferably crossover and subwoofer.
Mixing desk minimum: 6 input faders (Stage mics(3), DI(1), CD(2) and 6 sends (L&R(2), monitors(3), sub(1)).
1 x vocal mic and stand on stage centre.

1 x CD player at operating position.

Tuned grand piano with adjustable stool, dressing rooms (2) with lights & mirrors, toilet facilities, water.
Pack in
Approx. 4hrs set-up for touring operator plus one local crew (3hrs call), provided stage is set and lights are rigged and ready for focus.

Approx. 1 hr.
Company
Four - consists of one performer, two musicians, one production manager/lighting operator.
Travel and accommodation
Ex-Auckland by 4-seater van within 4hrs drive (with space for double bass) and/or airplane, including all transfers, excess luggage, freight. Minimum 4-star accommodation for four persons in four rooms.
Freight
One plinth in travel bag, one double bass in hard flight case, one large box with flowers, one large coat in bag, one wig box. This will all travel with company in the plane’s cargo hold.
Marketing and publicity
The company has images and copy suitable for marketing and publicity purposes. Hirer is responsible for marketing and publicity of event.
Company to be provided with archival copies of publicity and marketing material.
General
Four complementary tickets per performance are to be made available for use by the company.
